(NH₄)₂SO₄
Granular Ammonium Sulphate
A nitrogen-sulphur fertilizer for base application and top dressing. Sulphur in its water-soluble sulphate form is directly available for plant uptake. It is particularly effective for oilseed rape, winter wheat and brassicas, where sulphur deficiency limits the efficiency of nitrogen nutrition and may reduce yields. Sulphur deficiency is common on light and leached soils. Ammonium sulphate has a physiologically acidic effect and is therefore particularly suitable for neutral and alkaline soils. On acidic soils, its use should be combined with acidity monitoring and liming where required.
Key advantage
The highest sulphur content in the range — 24% in a water-soluble sulphate form available for plant uptake; particularly suitable for crops with high sulphur demand, including oilseed rape and winter wheat. It is less hygroscopic than ammonium nitrate and, under proper storage conditions, retains good flowability and resistance to caking.

Crops and application rates
Base application and top dressing. Application rates are determined with regard to soil-test results, the crop’s nitrogen and sulphur requirements, target yield and the adopted fertilization programme.

- Winter wheat — top dressing, 100–200 kg/ha
- Maize, sunflower, soybean — base application, 100–200 kg/ha
- Brassicas and vegetables — 150–300 kg/ha
- Potatoes — 150–250 kg/ha
Packaging and shipment
- Big bags (FIBC) 500 kg and 1000 kg with polyethylene liner

- Bulk — by separate agreement

NH₄NO₃ · (NH₄)₂SO₄
Ammonium Sulphate Nitrate (ASN)
A granular nitrogen-sulphur fertilizer based on ammonium nitrate and ammonium sulphate. It contains nitrogen in two forms: nitrate, which is readily available to plants, and ammonium, which is retained by the soil and may gradually convert to nitrate. At an adequate application rate, it supplies nitrogen and sulphur together and may reduce the need for a separate sulphur fertilizer. It can be used for the first and second top dressing of cereals and oilseed rape.
Key advantage
A concentrated sulphur-containing fertilizer with readily available nitrate nitrogen, ammonium nitrogen and sulphur in one granule. A balanced nitrogen and sulphur supply supports more efficient nitrogen use when sulphur availability is adequate.
Specification
| Composition | Nitrogen-sulphur fertilizer based on ammonium nitrate and ammonium sulphate |
|---|---|
| Total nitrogen (N) | min. 26.0 % (≈ 6.5 % nitrate, ≈ 19.5 % ammonium) |
| Sulphur (S), sulphate form | min. 13.0 % |
| Water content | max. 0.5 % |
| Granule size | 2–5 mm — min. 90 % |
| Packaging | big bags 500 / 1000 kg; 50 kg sacks |

NH₄NO₃ · CaCO₃
Calcium Ammonium Nitrate
A high-quality granular fertilizer containing calcium and magnesium. It is a blend of ammonium nitrate and finely ground limestone or dolomite — calcium and magnesium carbonates — and an alternative to conventional ammonium nitrate. The carbonate component partly offsets the acidifying effect of nitrogen nutrition. The fertilizer is suitable for a wide range of soils, particularly acidic, acidified and solonetzic soils.
Key advantage
Balanced nitrate and ammonium forms provide both readily available and gradual nitrogen supply. The carbonate component reduces the acidifying effect of nitrogen nutrition and makes the fertilizer particularly suitable for acidic soils. The granules have low hygroscopicity, resist caking and spread easily.
